His philosophy= phenomenal!

LESSON #5: ACHIEVEMENT THY NAME IS DISCIPLINE
“People who do not shrink from self-crucifixion can never fail to accomplish the object upon which their hearts are set.”
Self-crucifixion is your personal pain period.
Your pain period consists of all the shit that you run away from when everything you want is right in front of you!
- The tough conversation with your boy/girlfriend before a breakup
- Seeing a plate of Godiva Chocolate brownies while trying to lose weight
- Approaching and smile the attractive “hunk/hottie” at the bar
Instead of running from these moments like a dog with a tail in between your legs, meet it head on!
A great mentor told me:
“It is okay to feel fear, but it is not okay to give into it!“
Words to live by. Each day when you face a fear and are willing to pay the price for what you want. You can have anything you want.
But the best part is you can lower the price of self-cruxification by taking a small step each day. I call these “Pain installments”. Pain installments are definitive actions in destroying your fears, taken each day. Basically, they are your magic blue pills to becoming a bad ass. Your welcome!

My heart was racing, my eyes darting back and forth, and I thought I was about to have a heart attack. All over a simple email. A-list authors made me feel neurotic. I started asking myself “Why are you afraid?” My answer came immediately: Rejection.
My solution to face my fear: Email 2 authors a day, for an entire week! 2 Emails I could do, it wasn’t to intimidating.
Well, once I courageously hit the “send” button. Within in 2 days, I got responses from authors I could not believe. Including an exclusive interview for this blog. Here is the link! (Link to Jay Niblick post!) But I digress.
Be willing to go through the pain period. Its well worth it!
But you now say “But, but Moose, this pain period thing is way too hard. There are so many obstacles in the way!”
